Why it matters
A rejected translation sends you back weeks.
A bounced or badly-formatted translation can stall a visa, a marriage, or a property closing. So every document gets several sets of eyes, formatting that mirrors your original, and a final review before it ever reaches an official.
What a rushed translation costs you
- One wrong name, date, or number and the document gets bounced — you start the queue over.
- Formatting that doesn’t mirror the original makes the reviewer hunt for what matches what. A frustrated reviewer scrutinizes everything else harder.
- Every rejection costs weeks — appointments rebooked, deadlines missed, your status left in limbo.
How we handle yours
- Several sets of eyes review every document before it leaves our desk.
- We rebuild the layout to mirror your original, page for page — the way officials expect to read it.
- We catch problems here, before they spiral into a rejection that costs you weeks.
Caught here — before it becomes a rejection that costs you weeks. That care is the whole point.
Price your translationOur quality process
Every translation passes four checks before it reaches you.
Not one translator working alone — a reviewed, double-checked process built to catch problems before an official ever sees them.
- 1
Pre-translation review
Our document team reviews your file first, so the translator works from a clean, complete picture of what the receiving office needs.
- 2
Official sworn translation
An authorized sworn translator produces the translation and rebuilds the formatting to mirror your original document.
- 3
In-house accuracy check
Our private review system checks the translation and flags anything that looks off — names, dates, numbers, formatting — and sends it back to the translator to correct.
- 4
Final two-person review & dispatch
Our document team does a final review — a second set of human eyes — and prepares your delivery-ready document.

FAQ
How much does a certified translation cost?⌄
$99 per document for up to two pages, then $30 per additional page. Orders of five or more documents get 10% off. Complex, handwritten, legal, or non-standard documents may need a quick review before we confirm the price.
Why is your pricing higher than some alternatives?⌄
We’re upfront that our pricing runs higher than per-page translators. We focus on accuracy and formatting — each translation is rebuilt to mirror your original layout, and every document goes through a multi-step review before delivery. That extra care reduces back-and-forth and scrutiny during visa, apostille, and legal review.
What languages and countries do you cover?⌄
Our standard instant-quote service is English-to-Spanish certified translation for official use in Colombia. For other language pairs, or documents for use in another country, request a custom quote on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm availability and pricing.
Do you handle notary authentication?⌄
Yes. Some Colombian notaries require the translation itself to be authenticated — an extra step on top of the certified translation. You can add notary authentication for $10 per document at checkout, or ask us if you’re not sure whether your office needs it.
Will my translation be accepted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consulates, and government offices?⌄
Our translations follow Colombia’s legal standards and are performed by official sworn translators, with the seal, resolution number, and signature these offices require. They are routinely accepted by Colombia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Cancillería), Colombian consulates abroad, notaries, universities, courts, and other government agencies.
How does the estimate and ‘confirm or refund’ work?⌄
The tool counts the billable pages in your document and prices it instantly. You pay that estimate to get started. Before we begin, a coordinator reviews the document — if it needs fewer pages, we refund the difference; if it needs more (or is complex), we confirm with you first. No surprise charges.
What counts as a page?⌄
We bill by pages that contain real text to translate. Blank pages and pages with only a stamp or signature aren’t counted. Scans and photos are reviewed by hand to confirm the count.
Can you translate my FBI background check?⌄
Yes. We regularly translate FBI background checks and other state-issued criminal records, which are commonly required for visa applications and must be translated by a sworn translator for legal acceptance.
How long does it take?⌄
Most certified translations are delivered as a PDF within 24–48 hours. Rush handling is available — ask us on WhatsApp.
Is my information kept private?⌄
Yes. Documents are handled confidentially and securely. Files uploaded to the quote tool are read only to count pages, and only authorized team members access your translation.
